Like many people, I am researching my family tree.
I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation for their invaluable help, contributions and photos to: Joan Entwistle, Beryl Buchan, Mavis Scarlett, Dorothy White, Karen Kerr, and Paul and Deborah Wright.
The philosophy behind this site is to provide a comprehensive pool of extractions from parish records, census returns, etc, for the surnames listed below; although principally for Leeds, West Yorkshire, details of records for other areas will be added as my researches continue.
Where one or more of my principal surnames occurs in a record, I have reproduced the record in its entirety and included all individuals named in the record. The research database was last updated at 11:41 on 3 Feb 2003 and now contains details of 11638 individuals, extracted from 11717 records; with references to 1011 unique surnames.
In addition to the research data, the site includes family trees, etc. Since much this information is of a personal nature, all data on living individuals is suppressed. Any family members wishing to access the full range of information should contact me and I will issue a suitable password. Access is via the Family log-in page. The family database was last updated at 11:41 on 3 Feb 2003 and now contains details of 303 family members (75 different surnames).
